Unfortunately there is no sign of an inversion up here at Birch Hill and the temperature at 4:15pm is 24 BELOW zero. All lessons Adult Classic & Skate as well as the Sonot Training Class and Jr Nordics are CANCELLED.

Adult Lessons will be re-scheduled and you should be receiving an email/contact from your instructors.

Take the family out to see the NSCF's Backcountry Film Festival this Friday night at the Birch Hill chalet at 7:00. It's too cold to ski, so you might as well watch a ski movie. There will be refreshments and a raffle. Kids 6 and under free. $10 for NSCF members and $15 for non-members.

The Eighth Annual Wells Fargo Ski Your Age In Kilometers, presented by Banner Health was a great success.

Fairbanks Ski Patrol and Fairbanks Alpine Sports Club will help you sell your new or used winter sport gear including nordic & alpine skis, snowboards, boots, poles, helmets, ice skates, ski & snowboard accessories & winter outdoor sport clothing.

This is a fund-raising event. FSP & FASC retain 20 percent of all sales.

DROP OFF ITEMS FOR SALE: Friday November 11 6:00 - 9:30 pm &  Saturday November 12 9:00 – 12:00 PM

BROWSE AND BUY: Saturday November 12 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Unsold items must be picked up by 4:00 pm Saturday November 12. All unclaimed items become the property of Fairbanks Ski Patrol. Fairbanks Ski Patrol reserves the right to refuse equipment for sale. All items must be clean and equipment functional.
