The race in the 18th Annual Flint Hill Resources Town Race Series concluded with the Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks Ski-Cross, Saturday, January 25 at Birch Hill Recreation Area.  There were over 175 entries in all classes, racing under sunny skies on granular snow ground up by the hydrotiller on the NSCF's PistenBully.  Without that hydrotiller, it would have been very difficult, if not impossible, to pull off the race.

The Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks is pleased to announce that the Eighteenth annual Flint Hills Resources Town Race Series continues with the Woolly Rhino Classic, Saturday, January 11, at 11:00am at the Jim Whisenhant Ski Trails at Birch Hill Recreation Area.

The Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks is pleased to announce that the Eighteenth Annual Flint Hills Resources Town Race Series continues with the Fairbanks Youth Sports Sprint Festival, Saturday, December 7, at 11:00am at the Jim Whisenhant Ski Trails at Birch Hill Recreation Area.  The Flint Hills Resources Town Race Series provides a competitive forum for skiers of all ages beginning with pre-schoolers.  Over 150 entries are anticipated.  All races will be held in classic technique.

The Fairbanks Youth Sports Sprint Festival will begin at 11:00AM on Saturday morning (December 7) with the B Bracket sprints for high school and adult (and some junior high) skiers.  This bracket will consist of four quarterfinals for each sex, with the top four in each quarterfinal advancing to the semifinals (skiers not in the top four in the quarterfinals are eliminated from the competition), and the top four in each semifinal advancing to the A final and the next four advancing to the B final.
