The Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks is pleased to announce the fourth race in the 17th Annual Flint Hills Resources Town Race Series, the  Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks Open, will be held Saturday, February 16, at 11:00am at the Jim Whisenhant Ski Trails at Birch Hill Recreation Area.  The Flint Hills Resources Town Race Series provides a competitive forum for skiers of all ages beginning with pre-schoolers.  Over 200 entries are anticipated.  The race was originally-scheduled for January 26, but was postponed due to -30F temperatures.

If you registered for Town Series #4 in January for the postponed January 26th race and you still plan to race this weekend in the makeup of the postponed event, please go to: http://www.nscfairbanks.org/new/index.php/racing/town-race

On that page you will find an e-mail address, to which you should send an e-mail confirming that you still plan to race.  The e-mail address will have to be copied and pasted into your “To:” field, and you’ll have to substitute “@” for “[at]” in the address.  We take these steps to avoid a spam blizzard going to the e-mail address on the web.

Please confirm by 5PM Thursday if you are participating.

Thanks for your assistance with this.
